What Happens When Rent is Late?

If a tenant fails to pay by the due date, we step in quickly and professionally:

  • Rent is due on or before the 1st of each month
  • Payments are considered late after the 5th
  • Late notices are issued starting on the 6th
  • The eviction process begins on the 6th or the next business day, if necessary

Our team handles all notices and enforcement in full compliance with South Carolina landlord-tenant laws, minimizing your risk and ensuring proper documentation every step of the way.
